finally completed my ABB after leaving it 90% done in the household shelter. well, it all bcoz Spotlight does not haf stock of the foam roses i wanted. so no choice i had to get a difference size ivory colour foam roses (slightly bigger) and a smaller full bloom purple foam roses.

here's the final product. hope it's not too awful.

yesterday afternoon went BS to choose tea-dress or KUA. tried on a couple of tea dresses and the KUA. i managed to fit into the KUA, it was loose at the bottem but the shoulder area was juz nice, so it sort of makes me feel beri restrictive when i move my arms. den i can't zip it all the way up to my neck coz my neck beri big

n bah bah. die die i dun wan to wear tis KUA on AD although my mum n sis disagreed and insisted dat i wear KUA for tea ceremony. i told them if i were to wear the KUA, i confirmed will pull a black face on AD lor.. y wear force me to wear something i dun like n make me unhappy rite. i'm the on wearing the thing leh. so my mum relented and let me choose tea dress instead.

shortlisted two tea dresses, one red n one pink. i preferred the pink one and again, my mum n sis wanted me to choose the red one coz they said since i can't wear a red KUA, i must wear red tea dress. *faint* i dun one lor, i insisted on the pink tea dress.. so they said ask my hubby.. heng my hubby is good, he said i can choose whichever tea dress i prefer coz he said no point forcing me wear something i dun like. haha.. clever hubby! so i immediately told the BS coordinator my choice. nv take a pic coz i forgot to charge my digi-cam, but it's very similar to the picture attached (plus-size me, so plus-size tea dress pic), the BS actually had a same tea dress in red colour also, but too bad the size can't fit me

anyway, i like PINK!!

we haf ordered the GDL cakes tis afternoon from Savoury Fare over the phone.. We chose the mini heart-shaped cakes dat comes in 4 flavours, blueberry, rasberry, mocha and chocolate. It's $8.50/box and there's a 10% discount for order of 20boxes and above. we ordered 32 boxes.

the price also includes a label for the box with our names, wedding date and wedding pix. there's also a free delivery but most prob my hubby will be picking up the cakes himself on our GDL which is confirmed on 02dec. tml going down to pay the deposit.

i'm going to faint liao... was writing the invitation cards last nite when my hubby n i started to re-count the no. of tables we haf... fm the initially 28tables, we are now hitting

31 tables!!!!

and dats oni 1 table short of the max. 32 tables the ballroom is able to accomodate. really headache leh. liddat confirm got some tables wil be blocked by 3 pillars liao. but i foresee we would haf abt 1-2 tables of last min no-show-ers. most prob gonna confirm 29+2 tables. 1 more mth to go before we muz confirm our tables to Club Chinois.

sidetrack abit.. was going around a few places last nite in search of the canned pig-trotters. seems like islandwide really out of stock liao. heard fm my sis's blk provision shop owner dat their suppliers did not haf any stock incoming since last mth. sigh, tis sat my BIL bring my hubby to some suppliers directly to look for canned pig trotters. if sway sway still dun haf, gotta ask my mum wat she wans to replace it with coz it's 3weeks more to GDL.

Time for me to do up my AD checklist liao... oni 46days more to AD, gotta race against time!!

Things to do from now on:

1. Choose Tea-dress or KUA at BS

2. Fitting for jackets for FIL n 2 BILs at BS

3. Choose wedding bouquet and wedding car decor

4. Inform MUA of my address n to reach my place at 5.30am.

5. Inform BS that bridal car muz pick up pick up my hubby by 6.30am on AD

6. Confirm guest list, writing invites and planning seating arrangement <--- in the midst of doing it, abt 50% done

7. Accompany hubby to buy GDL items for groom's side

8. Accompany my mum to get shoes and bag to match her gown

9. Confirm Emcees and get Emcee speech ready

10. Photo Montage of PS pics

11. Do up the AD itinerary <--- in the midst of doing it

11. Fax back menu confirmation to Club Chinois

12. Choose colours for flora arrangement and table cloth for Ballroom

13. Inform AD PG on the time to arrive at my place

14. Inform AD VG on the time to arrive at my place and song to use for Express Highlights.

15. Choose songs and burn CDs for 1st + 2nd march-in, 1st dish and banquet use

16. RSVP and final planning of seating arrangement

17. Jie Meis meeting session

18. Final fitting of my mum's rental gown fm Bridal Closet

19. Collect the tiara and accessories i rented fm Bridal Closet

20. Hen's Nite <--- T.B.C.

Personal things to be done to ensure i look my BEST:

1. try to sleep as early as possible.. say 10pm and no more watching korean dramas till 1am.

2. at least one facial session

3. Trim, colour and highlight my hair

4. go for at least one backscrub at Spa
