such a pretty sight, though i tink it was a little small in size. if slightly bigger will be better. quickly took the pics of the cuppies n put it aside coz dinner was ready. my BIL prepared a sumptous dinner, there was steam fish, chilli crabs, red rice wine chicken, veggie n mincemeat with chestnut. i didn't eat the chilli crab coz i was plain lazy to dirty my hands. had to save some stomach space for the cuppies mah. 
after dinner, i showed my hubby the cuppies. he said it was beautiful but asked mi 'y dun wan to order the normal round cake for GDL?'. Grrrr, 
i showed him my black face n remind him he already said i can haf cuppies for GDL coz it was within the budget. so he bo pian liao.
tasted the cuppies with my mum, sis n nephew. all the 4 flavors, chocolate fudge, vanilla, strawberry n lemon was great! but i'll leave out vanilla flavor for my GDL. the cuppies was light n moist.. most impt of all, my mum can accept it coz it was nt too sweet. dunno izit bcoz i emailed Lynn to said i dun want it to be too sweet. the frostings was very sweet, i koe all frostings are... so the frosting on my mum's cuppie was eaten by my sis n nephew. gonna ask Lynn if the frostings can be made less sweeter.
will be placing the order for GDL cuppies soon, yet to decide on the design though. have put the alphabets A to L (beri small fonts) on the pic. personally, i like the following design A, B, F, H and I. shall see if Lynn has any nicer designs available coz i need 6 designs. my hubby said each cuppie haf different design better.

i haf been tinking of getting cupcakes i/o normal cakes (butter, walnut, etc) for GDL cakes coz dats so boring. the cupcakes available in the market now are all so beautiful n nice to eat!! so i juz asked my hubby over the weekend on his budget for the GDL cakes, whether $9/box was too expensive. he said $9 sounds ok but if lesser will be great. Grrrr... then i proceed to show him the cupcakes from Cupcake Divinity which i've been eyeing for some time liao. told him my idea for cupcakes (am tinking 6cupcakes/box) and he agreed to having the cupcakes as a substitute for GDL.
but i nv tell him it's works out to $9.18/box (aft discount) n exclude boxes n labels cost of $0.60-$1.00/box. *Ssshh* i''ll juz fork out the extra ba.. but tis is not confirmed yet until my family has tried the cupcakes. Jas said her dad commented dat it was too sweet when she ordered it earlier. my mum is dibetic (correct spelling?), can't haf cakes dat are too sweet. have ordered the bridal trial of 12 standard size premium cupcakes (flavors: chocolate fudge, vanilla, strawberry n lemon - 3pcs each) and the colour theme will be pink, blue and white.. i'll be collecting tomorrow. heng the pick-up location is within walking distance fm my sis's place. shall upload the pics tml nite.

received the 3rd amended draft juz now, can say they are quite fast now... every amendment dat i've requested has been made. BUT... nw my hubby's chinese name goes MIA 
y liddat one.. i wan to haf everything right so dat my hubby can show it to both MIL n PIL before i confirm can proceed with the print which will take a weeks time.

juz received my wedding invitation draft from Focal-Ad today... was advised by Stephen dat the earliest date for the draft to be ready will be on 20Sept, so they actually had it ready 2 days earlier 
but there are some amendments to be made.. PIL's names to be individual i/o Mr. & Mrs., my name in chinese fonts "Zhong Ke Wen" bcom "Zhong Ding Wen" *faintz* and email addr to be added.
tot of adding tis "hint hint we prefer the mint". Wat do ur tink?
pls give me ur comments.

tonite will be counting our guestlist to get the no. of invitation cards we need to order. haf called club chinois juz now and was told that no. of cards given will be 100% of the guaranteed tables. i can choose to collect the cards at Focal-Ad (their official printer) itself or at club chinois.
we have guaranteed 25tables, so will given 250pcs of invitation cards, any extra will be at $0.50 each. ar, y like dat. then i asked them 'wat if i ended up having 28-30tables?' heng they said they'll either refund me $ or knock off the final bill for extra cards i haf to pay should there be more than the guaranteed 25tables..
i was also given the quotation for printing at Focal-Ad.
printing on inserts:
100pcs - $75
200pcs - $80
300pcs - $90
hot-stamping on invitation cards (tink hot-stamping still muz pay for the mould):
1st 100pcs - $115
subsequent - $0.35/per pc
